What’s the difference between an In-Stream Ad and a Discovery Ad?
In-Stream Ads
These are the “commercial” type of ads that play in front of the video that you are about to watch. The viewer can Skip this ad after a few seconds. If you click on the Skip button, the advertiser does not pay for that view of their ad. If you do not skip the ad, they advertiser will pay for the ad. Discovery Ads
These ads are the suggested video ads that you see suggested or recommended videos on the Search Results Page or as a Recommended/What to Watch Next while you are watching a video.
